Copobras and Bloko Rosa entered into an unprecedented partnership promoting a sustainable revelry, by which the glasses used in the carnival party received the correct destination: the recycling. After this process, plastic waste can be transformed into several other products such as pens, which will be distributed to Laguna entities, where the reverse logistics project was carried out.
In this year, the cup supplied by Copobras for Bloko Rosa already had the differential of being biodegradable, continuing to be 100% recyclable. The search for sustainable practices, caused the partnership between the company and the bloc to be expanded, guiding the execution of the reverse logistics project. Besides that, revelers were given buttons with the phrase “Pink Party, green attitude ”to communicate the project and make them aware of the correct disposal.
“We invest in innovation always guided by our environmental responsibility. Plastic simplified modern life, brought practicality to people's daily lives, drastically minimized the spread of contagious diseases. Plastic is a revolutionary solution, not a problem. The issue is incorrect disposal, and to change this scenario we invested in awareness through some reverse logistics projects, like this partnership with Bloko Rosa ”, explains the president of the Copobras Group, Mario Schlickmann.
The proposal to implement the project was readily accepted by the creator and owner of Bloko Rosa. “In addition to using biodegradable cups, I felt I needed to go further. Copobras' wishes were in line with mine and we managed to achieve this initiative of a sustainable revelry in Laguna, host city for the biggest carnival in the south of the country ”, celebrates Renato Braz.
Showing one of the possibilities of applying the post-consumer product, Copobras and Bloko Rosa will distribute pens made with recyclable cups to entities in Laguna. “This is just an example, among many others that the recyclable cup can become. We are showing that what some call garbage, it's actually a by-product. And we will invest more and more in initiatives that make the population aware ”, afirma Schlickmann.
The pens were donated to two institutions in Laguna: APAE (Association of Parents and Friends of Exceptional People) and ACUSTRA (Cultural association, Social and Therapeutic Area of the Amurel Region).
